About
Control Point. The Control-M practice arm of Labarum AI.
We’re enterprise workload automation experts — BMC Control-M migrations, managed support, and modernization for Fortune 1000s. Twenty years in the market.
Architecture
One unifying standard above three specialized practices.
Labarum AI is the parent. It is a single unifying standard above three specialized practices in enterprise workload automation. Each practice is focused on one platform. Bluehouse for TIDAL. AutomWorx for Automic. Control Point for BMC Control-M.
The architecture is a bet. The bet is that customers buying enterprise workload automation services are best served by an expert who lives inside one vendor’s product stack — who knows the gotchas, the upgrade paths, the partner roadmap, the platform’s strengths and its honest limits. They are not best served by a generalist who quotes on every product and dedicates real attention to none of them.
Control Point exists because BMC asked for a partner that takes Control-M seriously enough to dedicate a brand to it. The architecture is the response.
The Labarum AI parent owns the AI capability. NEO is the internal infrastructure that runs it. WayPoint is the migration tooling that surfaces it to customers. The “Human-Led. AI-Enabled.” promise lives at the parent — and it shows up on Control Point through WayPoint and through the operating model of every engagement.
How we work
Five principles.
Focused on Control-M.
Twenty years of enterprise workload automation expertise, applied to one platform. The depth comes from the focus.
Human-Led. AI-Enabled.
WayPoint accelerates the parts of a migration that machines do well. The decisions stay with experts. “Human-Led” goes first because it is what matters.
BMC’s methodology, our execution.
Every engagement runs on BMC’s proven Control-M conversion methodology, delivered through one of BMC’s two published service models — Advisory or Comprehensive. The Control-M Conversion Tool does the high-volume mechanical work. Twenty years of practitioner judgment handles the rest.
Partner-aligned with BMC.
BMC field sales is the partner we run alongside. A BMC seller bringing us into a new-logo deal can expect us to behave the same way every time — on-message, on time, and recognizable as a BMC delivery partner.
Substance over surface.
No award badges, no glossy customer testimonials, no stock photography. The site reads the way the work reads. If that is too austere for some buyers, those buyers are not Control Point’s audience.
Leadership
Brian Hayes — President.
Twenty years in enterprise workload automation. US Army veteran (Aircraft Electrician, Army Good Conduct Medal, Soldier of the Year). Founded Labarum AI as the parent identity above three specialized practices — Bluehouse, AutomWorx, and Control Point.

What you can expect.
- A 60-minute partner brief on the prospect, written before the first joint call.
- An expert on every customer-facing conversation from discovery forward — not a sales engineer who hands off after close.
- A defined methodology you can describe to the customer without having to translate it.
- An assessment artifact (WayPoint) you can put in front of a technical evaluator that does not insult them.
